Christmas Comedy Hit Gets a Sequel
Los Angeles, CA - Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are back in the upcoming sequel to the 2015 hit comedy "Daddy's Home." The sequel, titled "Daddy's Home 2," is set to hit theaters this Christmas.
In the first film, Ferrell played Brad Whitaker, a mild-mannered stepfather who is forced to compete for the affection of his stepchildren with their biological father, Dusty Mayron, played by Wahlberg.
The sequel picks up where the first film left off, with Brad and Dusty having finally gotten used to each other. However, their newfound peace is threatened by the arrival of Brad's over-the-top father, Don Whitaker (John Lithgow), and Dusty's estranged father, Kurt Mayron (Mel Gibson).
The film is sure to be a hit with fans of the first film, as well as anyone who enjoys a good laugh.
